About the cookbooks

A new design cookbook collection written out of pure joy and enthusiasm, which you can really feel from it.

How are the cookbooks different from others?

  • everything is “Czech work” and only ingredients available here are used
  • the recipes are not collected but they’re all originals dreamed up with an appetite
  • no demanding cooking methods; the preparation time is mostly less than 30 minutes
  • each volume is focused on a specific theme
  • 50 varied recipes divided into easy-to-read chapters in each volume
  • great taste of the dishes is a must (everything was tested on a real man)
  • even though vegetables have the leading role, it is not vegetarian as white meat is also used (poultry and fish)
  • photos go into the details of the dish with each recipe, so your mouth will be watering
  • no mock-ups, colors or varnishes were used for the photos (as is otherwise common practice)
  • finally a cookbook with a special “non-closing” binding
  • the names of the recipes will entice you with their unbridled playfulness
  • a cookbook with a soul, offering that which is missing in heavy and boring cookbooks

A cookbook with a philosophy

The cookbook does not want to preach and boast above the rest. It wants to show undreamed-of possibilities and encourage playfulness with one’s own fantasy, which is hidden in everyone (just a bit deeper in some people). Forget that the meal must be perfect because you’re expecting an important guest. Throw away your fear of failure and cook with zest and joy! This will lead you in the right direction. And then wonders begin…

Do you remember how you learned to ride your bike? Of course by first falling a few times (well, me many times) and each time getting up with enthusiasm convinced that this time you’ll get a bit further. If you had given up after the first fall then you would have never learned how to ride your bike. So what if your culinary undertaking does not turn out well the first time; next time it is certain to be a lot better! The main thing is to not be afraid and to fearlessly go at it again and again. You can be sure your family will grin and bear it a couple of times in case something accidentally does not work out. When you tell the diners that you invented the meal yourself, they’ll appreciate it more (surely everyone can handle cooking based on a recipe), and soon they’ll be coming with their own ideas and improvements.
